happy belated birthday to me. another year older but still not quite sure what i'm doing.

Had a joint bday drinks with a fellow Leo and was quite great fun. The 5 chicks were getting dressed and glammed up at the penthouse and it felt just like getting ready for a uni ball again! wished there more times where we would get dressed up and go out and party, alas the "summer" is coming to an end and we evolve into hibernating bears. Anyway, it was a nice long night, a little boogeying and a lot of drinking, thanks to people who's sole aim was to get the 2 birthday gals drunk! :p

Last weekend we spent driving up to Bath and the Cotswold. Unfortunately it was a rainy Saturday, so much time was spent indoors. Fortunately however, we booked a gorgeous townhouse near the city centre. The decor was beautiful, big bath tub for bubble bath and wonderful well-equipped kitchen. This became inspiration for a lovely Saturday dinner indoors, a vast improvement on the Burger King dinner on the drive up. En route home on Sunday we stopped by Cirencester for lunch and then a cheeky leg-stretch at Bicester. Luckily walked out with only 1 skirt for work!

I had wanted to take a day off on my bday for some R&R but we have become busy as we enter the next phase of work. So consolation was dinner at a lovely Italian Restuarant - Giusto - downstairs. Also thank you for the lovely presents! :)

It seems that work is slowly taking over my time. I do not have a spare moment to book any more holidays!! Also been working pretty intensely and sometimes late. Need my 9 - 5 job back!

This weekend was the arrival of Esther and Siwei from their 2weeks travelling around Europe. It was great to catch up again, and also our little girly sessions till 5am! Yet another little mini-HS reunion on the other side of the world. How 10 years have passed so quickly...
